How Casting Kids works
If you are interested in applying your child should attend a class for assessment. Details can be found on the acting school page. Please call to let us know you are coming. All assessments are completed on zoom online, however castings are usually London and Manchester.
Registration is via our childrens casting class, which are on Sunday’s via zoom. Professional photographs are £80 and will only be accepted via our in house photographer. Photos must then be updated every six months as per spotlight’s requirements. All of our clients must register with ‘Spotlight’ www.spotlight.com as a performer – £100 annual fee. Upon receiving your Spotlight view pin, we can then put your kids forward for work! You will receive emails for castings, you then need to let us know if you would like your son/daughter to confirm a casting through our management system Tagmin of which you will receive the casting details with date, time and location. We cannot give feedback if your child is not booked as Casting Directors see lots of children so if you DO NOT receive a phone call, email or text then your child was not successful.
We will then let you know if your child is attending the Casting and the date, time and location. Please note if you DO NOT receive a phone call, email or text then your child did not get a casting. We cannot reply to everyone that didn’t.
Nb. Your child MUST attend if they are being put forward, It is important to show a professional approach, Casting Directors do NOT give second chances! Our reputation and effectiveness as a top childrens casting agency relies on your cooperation.
